After a really tough week of bad weather and camping, my husband and I decided to check in for a night at Island Home BnB. I instantly felt welcomed and relaxed. The rooms are so tastefully decorated and calming. There is a coffee and tea room that you can access at all times, which also includes an ice machine and water station. There are several lounging areas (tv room, front room, library, etc). Theres a beautiful little patio in the backyard as well where you can drink your morning coffee and plan your day. Though from the outside the building truly looks like a well maintained 19th century home, the inside is modern and clean and quiet. I am very squeamish when it comes to hotels and dislike the idea of climbing into other peoples beds, but this bed was very easy to climb into and I didnt want to get out in the morning. There was minimal noise from our fellow guests (except for an understandable creaky floor upstairs). We have heard that the breakfast is delicious but have not eaten yet! I would 100% come back here again. Beautiful place and wonderful people.
My husband and I, along with my brother and his wife from Chicago were on the Island for a family wedding. We spent three nights at this bed and breakfast. The entire home was beautifully decorated. The hospitality was exceptional. The breakfast was perfect - both in taste and presentation. We would enthusiastically recommend to any one looking for a great experience on the Island to choose this spot.
