Our family of four had breakfast and we all liked our meal. Very friendly and service was very good. I had French toast, my wife had eggs and toast, and my adult children had eggs, sausage/bacon, and toast. The portions were large. The coffee was a drinkable temperature; not as hot as I would have liked it. All in all, a good meal. We would return again.
Fun little restaurant with an extensive menu. Also they catered our son's rehearsal dinner and the food was wonderful. They did a great job. I highly recommend them
5 stars for what it is. Not fancy. Just good, fresh food. Best fish and chips around. Had Maine eateries beat hands down. Good service. Owners were very pleasant.
This restaurant experience was very disappointing and a rip-off. I am still not over it. My group of 5 were very excited about order lobster rolls and deep fried clams...well...that was a letdown. We had a lovely server and the clams and salads were very good but the lobster rolls were terrible and they were $20. First, the rolls were big thick bread rolls untoasted. Second, the lobster amount was about 2 tablespoons. There was shredded lettuce, a few small chunks of celery, a little mayo. The lobster was not fresh as it had no flavour and chopped in small bits...not big chunks of claw and tail. I spoke to the manager and he was very rude and defensive and didn't even have the courage to come to our table and speak to us. I think that they didn't have the proper rolls and any fresh lobster, so they substituted with what they had in the kitchen...dinner rolls and some frozen lobster and made three skimpy lobster rolls...instead of taking the item off the menu. I call this deceit! Shame on the owners of this restaurant. They do not deserve any praise.
If you're on Grand Manan this is a great place to grab a bite to eat. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Food was basic and good. We will definitely eat here again when we visit the island
